My name is Noreen O Sullivan. I hold an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and am fully accredited with IACP.

Adhering to the IACP Code of Ethics, my work is fully insured and I attend regular clinical supervision.

With a background in Education I spent many years working in behavioural support in Cork city. I completed an Honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy in Cork in 2005, followed by an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy. I have a particular interest in working with trauma related issues and have trained in EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing with Dr Derek Farrell, UK Institute of EMDR.

I worked in both private practice as well as being part of the team in Pope’s Quay Counselling Centre in Cork city for over ten years. I also worked with Coisceim counselling Service under the umbrella of the Social and Health Education project. I have since made Ennis my home where my therapy rooms are located.

I approach the work from a humanistic perspective where the focus is on the quality of the relationship we create with each other. My training and experience allows me to work in an integrative way with people, tailoring the therapy to suit individual needs. “All great changes are preceded by chaos’

Deepak Chopra

Mindfulness promotes an atmosphere of safety where deep healing occurs.   Facilitating you to be present to your feelings, bodily sensations and sensual awareness is key.  This reveals that there is more to your self- experience than habitual racing thoughts, and negative emotional states.
